Commercial Electricity

MORE OPTIONS. BETTER TERMS.

Maryland's 1999 Electric Customer Choice and Competition Act opened the state's electricity market to competition. Eligible businesses in the service territories of BGE, Pepco, Delmarva Power, and Potomac Edison can choose their own competitive electricity supplier. Your utility continues to deliver power and maintain the grid — you simply choose the supplier for the supply portion of your bill.

Natural Gas

CHOICE DEPENDS ON YOUR UTILITY.

Natural gas supply options in Maryland are available to commercial customers of BGE, Washington Gas, and Columbia Gas of Maryland. Customers in these territories can choose to shop the gas commodity portion of their bill with a licensed supplier instead of purchasing it from the utility.
